New Energy Bill Will cost Kentuckians more...

"CNN is carrying a story about an energy bill being pushed by liberals in the Senate. The bill would require states to increase the share of energy from "renewable" sources like wind and water.The problem with the bill is that while Western states have enormous capacity to produce renewable energy, Southeastern states don't. And artificially creating that capacity in the short term would require huge investments by our utilities. They'd then pass those development costs onto Kentucky families in the form of higher electric bills. That's the last thing the Commonwealth needs....." more from TeamMitch Blog
