Tell us about your new book and what you have discovered about Obama’s war on America.

Geller: Thanks Jamie.

The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s War On America is the product of three years of research I’ve done on Barack Obama: his socialist internationalism, his ties to America-haters and anti-Semites, his race-baiting, and more. As president, Obama is presiding over America’s decline, and is in many important ways the apostle of that decline. He is betraying Israel; warring against free speech; refusing to take real steps to stop Iran’s nuclear program, despite the many genocidal statements Ahmadinejad has made against Israel, and the open contempt the mullahs have shown for his efforts to reach out to them.

Obama is turning allies into enemies and enemies into allies; submitting the U.S. to international law; bankrupting us with socialist schemes both domestically and internationally; bypassing the democratic process and the system of checks and balances by governing through a proliferation of “czars”; and using global warming as a pretext to redistribute wealth from the First World to the Third World...." "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is the world's worst cleaning lady. How has she fulfilled her vaunted promise to "drain the swamp" and preside over the "most ethical Congress in history"?
By shrugging her shoulders, downplaying the gravity of myriad ethics charges against corruptocrat New York Democratic Rep. Charlie Rangel and waiting for the "political chips" to "fall where they may." Imagine a custodial service that fixed toilet clogs by letting the overflowing waste and polluted waters "fall where they may."
At a press conference to preempt the bipartisan House ethics panel's announcement of 13 ethics and federal regulation charges against Rangel on Thursday afternoon, Pelosi claimed to take "great pride" in her swamp-draining record. Unblinkingly, she cited the House trial against Rangel as proof that the "process" is working.
But that beleaguered panel has been pathetically understaffed, has dragged its feet for two years on the Rangel case and has administered more halfhearted wrist-slaps than all the pushover parents on a season of "Nanny 911" "

McConnell gets better reviews than Bunning or Obama, cn|2 Poll shows

"A majority of likely Kentucky voters approve of the job being done by U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell, the Senate Republican leader, but aren’t as pleased with the state’s junior senator, Jim Bunning, or President Barack Obama, the cn|2 Poll shows.

McConnell fared best with an approval rating of 53.1% compared to Bunning’s 43.7%. As for Obama, a higher percentage said they strongly disapproved of his performance (42.2%) than the total of those who said they somewhat or strongly approved (40.9%).

Those numbers were part of the results of the first cn|2 Poll, a survey taken of 803 likely voters between July 19 and July 22. Braun Research — a Princeton, New Jersey-based firm – conducted the poll, which has a margin of error of 3.46 percentage points. " from CN|2 Politics

ObamaCare Funds Abortion

We must stop this immoral offense against human life and against American taxpayers.”

Washington, DC - U.S. Congressman Mike Pence, Chairman of the House Republican Conference, released the following statement today in response to the Obama Administration spending $160 million on a “high risk” insurance program that will pay for abortions:

“It is morally wrong to end an unborn human life by abortion. It is also reprehensible to take taxpayer dollars from millions of pro-life Americans and use them to pay for abortions.

“President Obama promised the American people that his health care law would not allow federal funding of abortion. But according to an investigation by the National Right to Life Committee, this allocation for Pennsylvania’s high risk pool will break the president’s promise by using taxpayer dollars to subsidize coverage of nearly any kind of abortion.

“We must stop this immoral offense against human life and against American taxpayers. Congress should act quickly on critical legislation by Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) and Rep. Joe Pitts (R-PA) to stop the administration from using ObamaCare to fund abortions. The best long-term solution, and the one that I remain committed to, is the total repeal of ObamaCare.”

GOP ticket with tea party support close to forming

"The first Republican gubernatorial ticket for 2011 — and one with the backing of tea party activists — could be announced by the end of this week and perhaps as soon as Tuesday, key conservatives confirmed to cn|2 Politics on Monday night.

Conservative radio show host Leland Conway said he has been put on notice that a slate could be announced on his afternoon radio show on Lexington’s WLAP-630 AM “as early as tomorrow.”

Conway said he wasn’t at liberty to talk about who might be on the ticket. But he eliminated the possibility that he might be a candidate in 2011.

The name of David Adams, the campaign chairman of Republican candidate Rand Paul’s U.S. Senate bid, has popped up in the middle of much speculation about the ticket..."
